1. Accounts and eligibility
Use an email address that can receive service notices and keep your credentials secure. Activity under an account is treated as activity by its holder. If you suspect unauthorized use, change your password and contact us.
You may not create accounts in bulk, resell or share accounts, or bypass limits, permissions, billing, or security controls.
2. The service and changes
StoryForge provides tools for fiction ideation, outlining, chapter drafting, review, prompts, knowledge management, and related account features. Available features, models, limits, and prices are those shown in the product at the time of use.
We may adjust the service for security, legal compliance, model availability, or product improvement. Where a change materially affects your interests, we will make reasonable efforts to explain it in the product or through another appropriate channel.
3. Your content and AI output
As between you and StoryForge, you retain the rights you hold in content that you submit, upload, edit, and arrange. StoryForge does not claim copyright in your work merely because it provides the tools.
AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or similar to output provided to someone else. Whether a particular output is protected by copyright or another right depends on applicable law and the actual creative process. You are responsible for review, revision, and compliance before publication.
4. Permission to process content
To provide generation, storage, retrieval, review, export, security, and support requested by you, you permit us to store, copy, transform, and transmit relevant content to the model provider you select or that the platform supplies, only as necessary for those functions.
This permission is limited to providing, protecting, and improving the service you actually use. Deleted content and closed accounts are handled according to the Privacy Policy and applicable backup cycles.
5. Prohibited conduct
Do not use the service to infringe intellectual property, privacy, or other lawful rights; generate or distribute illegal material; upload works, personal data, or confidential information you are not authorized to process; disrupt the service; distribute malware; or probe or attack the system.
6. Credits, subscriptions, and refunds
Available plans, credit prices, free allowances, validity periods, and charging rules are those displayed when you purchase or use a feature. Except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise, model calls or digital services already consumed generally cannot be reversed. For a suspected billing error, contact support with the time, feature, and ledger entry.
7. Availability and limits of liability
We use reasonable efforts to keep the service secure and available, but cannot promise uninterrupted operation, error-free software, or fully accurate AI output. Export or back up important manuscripts regularly and do not rely on the service as your only copy.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for indirect losses caused by reliance on AI output, third-party service failures, events outside our reasonable control, or failure to keep your own backup.
8. Termination and contact
You may stop using the service. We may restrict or end access when an account violates these terms, creates a security risk, or legal obligations require action. Questions about these terms or the product can be sent to [email protected].
